Another lovely morning on the perambulation as the low-lying mist cleared. One of those where the Cathedral spire seemed to floating on a cloud.

Now all ready to start another day of work.

Sunny intervals and light winds so may try to get out on trike as the only decent looking day for weeks.

I though MacAfee had given up but only one junk email from them this morning. Moved on to TotalAV instead and an advert for solar panels.

We are reduced to only one pub now unless you count the Western Isles which is or used to be a bit upmarket as well as up a steep hill.
MacGochans was badly flooded with a lot of damage. Given their history I doubt any insurance company will even consider them now.
MacGochan was a real person and we knew him well as a neighbour tho' that was not his real name but a local nickname. He had nothing to do with the pub but at one time lived in the cottage which was incorporated into the pub.
The only one open now is the Mishnish where the grandfather of the electrician I employed was barman for years and known a Willie Winky. No idea of the history behind that nickname.

Good morning from Suffolk where it continues to be dull & overcast. Coffee has been had and the overnight bag is packed and by the front door ready for today's trip to Brighton.

Not yet had this morning's call from "Bank Security" - seem to get a spell of these things then nothing for weeks.

Yet another Delay Repay claim submitted to Greater Anglia as they cancelled the local train to Ipswich at half an hour's notice
Grabbed everything and made it to the bus stop to find there was a one due within 5 minutes that would have got to town and given me just enough time to walk to the rail station for the London train - gave up on that one when it hadn't turned up 10 minutes after the scheduled time
Came home and had a mug of coffee while filling in the repay claim and waiting for the next local train.
