Had to do some form filling in today: Rottenburg has a "second home tax" so I need to tell them what my flat costs and why I live here. Fortunately, it looks like I'm exempted because it's for work; the city seems to be targeting people with holiday homes.

Spent most of the afternoon on the sofa with a book and the radio until just gone 15:00 when the fine drizzle stopped - I spent enough time cycle commuting in all weathers so I'm not going out for a leisure ride in the wet. Went out for just over a hour which is all I needed as the day's fresh air/exercise.

Now having the daily hot chocolate and thinking of an early night as I'm having the survey done for solar panels late on Tuesday morning, so may need to go out early to get a couple of bits for Wednesday's outing.

I know cars generally have clock adjustment buried somewhere that makes tweaking a Garmin 530 etc look simple but is it the one thing my Fiesta excels in as their is a button specifically for it and labelled as such.
Japanese efficiency with my car as the clock automatically adjusts - must be connected to the DAB radio or SatNav. Just a shame that the SatNav is out of date and they want around £200 for an updated SD card map. Knock off ones are available for much less, but wont use them given my previous work and I still have an old TomTom which gets free updates.

Morning.
It is grey here but not raining. It is damp out though.
I have been reading Billy Connolly's biography. I'm a slow reader, it's taken me a month and I'm near the past chapter. There was one bit which I found really interesting where he said that he would be thinking about someone ,turn a corner and then bump into them. It's interesting to discover that someone else has had similar experiences to me. It's happened loads of times with me but two occasions whilst on holiday in Cornwall it happened to me. " I wonder where my brother is?" I looked up to see his car drive past.
I don't find it worrying like Billy found it but interesting!
