Cloudy morning but not raining yet.
I was warned I would probably feel a bit rough today after the vaccinations yesterday. These days I feel a bit rough most mornings so doesn't make much difference so far.
Some people are up and working of course and recently saw the pilot rib heading past followed by a large fish farm boat.
They need a pilot to get through the Falls of Lora under Connel Bridge.
Need to go into Oban after lunch for a medical consultant and I need to get some stuff I forgot yesterday. I do not normally shop in Tesco as I can never find whatever I am looking for. Aldi/Lidl I find much easier and can get most of what I need there.

Lovely but chilly morning.

Last day of work for the week and a half day. Will hopefully get a ride in after work.

Did it do anything for it?

Yes, made it a good deal better, IMHO.

Chilly out, but bright and sunny, and there's virtually no breeze at all.

Slept OK-ish. Feel a bit tired today as I did quite a bit yesterday, and I went out in the evening to do some photography. So I am going to have a quieter day. I have done some writing this morning, re-jigged the fridges in the kitchen and utility room, and picked my basil. I noticed my plants were starting to shed their leaves (whoops!) so stripped them. The leaves are now in the fridge, and I will make pesto with them - some will go into a Pesto Trappanese, and the rest will just go into the classic basil and parmesan variety.

Inspector Montalbano likes Pesto Trappanese on his pasta, apparently.

This afternoon's task will be to make a big cauldron of tomato sauce in order to use up all the ripe / overripe tomatoes. I may also go for a gentle walk to look for some more escaped potatoes. Somehow, freebie potatoes always seem to taste better

It is almost time for luncheon.
