Starting any day now they would have a field day here as the car racing called a rally is due soon and they are out in force with their noise machines.
Bring them on, but in reality, they can't even be bothered enforcing the existing rules of the road around here. Even if they do, the courts let them off anyway.

Strange weather today with some sunshine and a bit damp but no actual rain.
Went to the library but nothing there seems to catch my fancy. I did take out a couple of books one of which I realise is not really as the cover blurb suggests so rejected already.
I do have plenty of books of my own and the latest one I am reading is “Sods law of the sea”.
I seem to have been a proper yottie with scruffy oilskins but not a snotty yottie being of the wrong social class tho’ I did get to be Vice Commodore of the Western Isles Yacht Club” for a while.
It used to be run by snotty yotties but that changed over the years and the scruff took over and even allowed dinghy owners to be members.

Well I went cycling today.
Was delayed by H.I.D. to faff with potted chrysanthemums. Seems B&Q had put them in pots that are too small.
Who am I to dare to argue?
Anyway, sunny, windy 30+km around a new Komoot route.
No signal at one point so no guidance. That cut 10 km off the trip when I made an executive decision. Komoot then got awkward and sulked all the way home.

For a first bicycle ride of any distance, I rode12+ miles to the local Uni homecoming parade to see my relatives and be yet another great uncle to the little ones. Pretty clogged trail near town going home, but thinned out to nothing soon enough.

No riding this weekend as today i rode home from work just after midnight then lots of jobs around the home including dismantling the old trampoline , i left the frame outside for the scrappie and it was gone within the hour ! .Tomorrow going into work for 6 hours double time then have to take mini ck2 plus mrs ck so they can watch arsenal wfc vs leicester so i will be dad taxi , so tomorrow i will not stop .

Lovely relaxing day at Snetterton. Watched the two (short) morning races and the went for a slow wander round the paddock. Plonked myself down in my chair at my preferred spot on the back stretch banking for the afternoon's racing with the flask of coffee, bottle of squash and some snacks and didn't move for over three hours until the need for a pee became too much. Sunshine and light winds meant it wasn't too cold where I was.
I now have a problem for Sunday. The original plan was to go back to Snetterton for the afternoon, but it's also the British GT final at Brands. I have enough fuel in the car, my Dart Charge account has enough credit, but can I justify a round trip of 3+ hours (and the Dartford Tunnel queues) for just a 2 hour race which I can record on the Sky F1 channel? One to sleep on.

Ricked my knee on Friday, good job I've plenty of practice with crutches.
