The nights are really drawing in now. I went for a twenty mile ride, first proper dark ride of the winter

I remember nite rides. they were spooky fun

When we went to pick up a bike frame yesterday we popped into IKEA. I know ! It was a bit of a bribe . Thankfully all we could fix to buy were some plastic food storage bags. There were a lot of men wandering round pushing trolleys looking like zombies. I spoke to one chap who looked like he had had enough that it would soon be closing time. He smiled .

hate that place. it's like a mouse maze or hamster wheel. you can only go in one direction looping thru 3 floors, never able to move backwards, almost forcing ppl to view or be exposed to their "merchandising tactics"

Sun is shining but looks a bit cloudy so may have rain showers. Very autumnal.
Nothing planned but I may go down and pester the bank about the ATM still not working as I don't need but want my credit card unlocked if that makes sense.
There is one at the Coop shop but it is on the pavement on the street front so no privacy and in any case I want nothing to do with the Coop for a variety of reasons.

A damp start to the day but it looks like it will clear up.

All ready to start work for the day.

No news on last night's accident so presumably no serious injuries. No doubt the usual people will be blaming the council as it's always the fault of the road. How dare they put a corner there.
