Nice sunny and warm day so had a trike run on part forest and part main road.
A bit slow as the surface was pretty rough and quite a lot of hills but a good workout as it takes more effort than a smooth surface.
The main road bit was potentially a bit dodgy as when I reached that point with limited visibility to my right cars began to appear all going fast. Lost count in the mid twenties but probably over thirty in one convoy. Had to wait for a bit when they appeared to have all gone past as there are always the terrified stragglers.
Set off downhill and went faster than I have ever been on this trike. Chickened out at 36.4mph as my cap kept trying to fly off and there was a bend which needed both hands steering.
Only one camper van overtook me but chose to do it on the bend which given the range of visibility was not really very wise.
A regular tick noise has started from the front disc brake when applied. The disc appears to have no irregularities which is an obvious cause so further investigation is needed. I wonder if the holding bolts are all tight?
