Good morning from Suffolk where it's slowly brightening up after a dull and misty start to the day. Coffee has been had and a load of cycle clothing is being washed and just entering the spin cycle. This will go on the whirlygig and hopefully dry while I'm out shopping.

Curtain hooks have been ordered as I managed to break two when I pulled the bedroom curtains last night.

What a lovely sunny and warm afternoon it is here in south Norfolk. Got here just in time for the first race which included 7 big American V8s to provide a glorious soundtrack.

A light sprinkle of rain just as I'd finished hanging out the washing this morning quickly stopped so everything dried while I was out shopping. A later heavy downpour passed just to the south west.

3 hours ago we (2 children and me) set out on bikes to Ferry Meadows country park probably 5 miles of bumbling about interspersed with stop offs at plat parks, the cafe etc etc.
About 1 mile away from home my wife rang...where are you ?
Apparently it was chucking it down, we were in woodland and had no idea what it was like above.
Set off home, got in just in time but...we listened to constant, distant rolling thunder for the last 30 minutes. Non stop, very unusual it seems to me, very rare to hear it rolling on that long.

W10 desktop equally problematic with the audio capture device so the supplier of it contacted. Bath main panel was near enough right but the end panel needed trimming. Bought a "hidden bath panel easy fit kit" for them which didn't seem to achieve its claim so ended up taking the push fit plus sealant approach.

The weather isn't great for my (fairly) usual Saturday 20 miler and the wife is at work all day, so brew day it is then. Ingredients sourced all the way from Whitley Bay home brew shop when we were out and about on the Metro last Saturday, carted around in my rucksack. 4 kg of pale malt and 0.5 kg of Cara Gold malt. Bramling Cross & Goldings in the boiler with Citra & Centennial hop tea bags for finishing. Should come out around 1045 OG for about 4.5% when finished. Currently mashing for 90 minutes prior to sparging and boil 🍺.
