Reminds me of my Father in Law's comment to Elder Son when the latter said the flight to Japan was "A bit boring". As he pointed out, excitement is not what you want in a plane flying several kilometres above the ground.

My granddaughter, 16, is very bright & intelligent. After perusal of many a manifesto she has decided that Count Binface deserves her vote should the age if voting be lowered from 18 in the next few weeks..

Dull morning but not raining so far.
One thing most do not realise is that in a tourist area there is no privacy.
Fiddling about outside trying to sort the rear lights on my trike and a group gathered round to peer at it but saying nothing.
Once making lead fishing weights in my garage a group came in and gathered round. Molten lead is dangerous so I enquire what they wanted. " We are tourists and we just want to watch" was the reply.
When we had a deadline to meet in our workshop I put up a closed sign which encouraged them to open the door and come in.
Lots of twee pop up food stalls are appearing and while this may be more appropriate in the food and drink section I will mention it here anyway.
One is advertising back pudding and scallop rolls!
Culinary vandalism. Scallops should be lightly fried in butter with some bacon bits. Black pudding will kill the taste.

Coffee has been had and all that I have to do today is retrieve the wheelie bin and put it in its normal place round the back of the house.
