Rain, rain and some more rain today. Work was busy today. Catching up on what I would have done if I'd not had Thursday and Friday off!

I tidied up the kitchen and made a big pot of vegetable soup. I did my shopping yesterday and in a really serious oversight, I forgot to buy Marmite.

Just going to relax now and listen to music (and boyracers!).

There is NEVER a good time to mention this, unless it is in a discussion about pet-food. My dog, who eats chicken poo for fun, would turn it's nose up at marmite and peanut butter.

I just gave it a try.

Lovely supper of cream of celeriac soup followed by cheese on toast doused in Worcestershire sauce.

It's really rather tasty, makes for a nice savoury snack. It's also good on crumpets.

You can actually buy it already mixed, but it only comes made with crunchy peanut butter.

I prefer smooth peanut butter.

Grass was cut and the mower back into the shed by midday. Two bags of grass clippings to be taken to the recycling centre when I've got enough other rubbish to make it worthwhile getting the car loaded up.
This was followed by a trip to the local Halfords to pickup a bottle of leather cleaner to do the interior of the car and while I was there a quick rummage of their cycling clearance bin turned up a flat bar shifter for a silly price which could come in useful later. If not it could still be sold on for a slight profit on Ebay.
