Why does top of the pops from 1995 seem better than it did when watched originally ?

Firewood was cut up and split, parental's prescription was picked up, and I've spent the evening watching the coverage from Crufts. Supper was soup and sandwiches in front of the TV.

I have two jobs for Saturday.First we have a smelly landing light,a strong burning smell.I am hoping it is a dead fly,wasp,moth ladybird or whatever,or as Mrs P has said we get an electrician in.Secondly a visit to Aldi apples and oranges needed by me.

I had a bandsaw accident this afternoon. I need to take the dressing off before I go in the shower, and see what the damage is. Put it this way..........I can still count to ten.

I'm fine. I cut the zip tie off a new blade and it sprang up and nicked my thumb. I was nowhere near the bandsaw, but unfortunately I splattered a bit of blood around on my new bench.
