The Bournemouth to Faro flight has just gone over. Reminded me that we have had a peace treaty with Portugal since 1373, that's over 650 years. Bournemouth has a large Portuguese community.

The birds aren't daft!
I just spotted 10 birds in the garden just now , went to get my binoculars to see what they were and they bu993red off!

Word has got round the bird community that if they see humans gathering at windows that they are being counted and should clear off.

Maybe they're flying out of sight before returning!
Making you count them twice.

Not near to the bike, it's just ground frost. The river was steaming where the warmth from the sun hit it.

Right, remote control at the ready. Watching A&E Crash Scene Emergency on Chanel 5 and it's cyclists and motorbikers in bits. MrsF due home shortly, better turn over by then !


EDIT - this might need to go over ASAP if I see the car on the drive - poor cyclist has had serious brain injury (helmet on), oh and young lad (late teens) fell of his MTB (just on the pavement) and had a titanium mesh put in his skull.

Can't see it dropping as low as they're saying. If it does, it'll be white outside in a few hours time.

The forecast snow isn't due until the 3rd of next month.

Weather on repeat - its Saturdays again. Morning spend scanning stuff to get rid of the paper versions. Off to IIkley this afternoon (by car sadly) to see what if a bigger Tesco has what the Tesco Locals do not stock.
