Chilly outside, but no ice on the cars. Bitd feeder has been shaken to loosen up the seed.

Snow on the ground, but bright sunshine so the roads will be fairly clear by the time I head back.

I just had a look to see which battery went into my wife's car key. I couldn't see a mention of it on our hand book so I struggled to remove the cover. As Sods Law would have it we have every battery apart from the one it needs . Just wondering would it be better to change the car battery and get cold and then have a bath or shower to warm up ?

We have snow. What a fabulous ride to work. Kept stopping to take pictures.

A dusting of snow but the road looks clear. Looks like it is snowing over on Morvern on the other side of the sound.
Wind forecasts are all over the place with the gales for two days next week replaced by just a little strong wind the day and time I should be travelling.
Need to go out sometime today but nothing urgent so time to get some bread on the go.

Good morning from Suffolk where it's another bright & sunny start to the day. Although bitterly cold there was no frost on the ground and the wind looks to have dropped quite a bit. The first coffee of the day has long been finished and I think a second one is called for with the late breakfast.

I think I may get the 29er out of the shed for a slow ride around later as it's not been used for a while.

Remarkably both of mine were on time this morning so in the hospital 30 mins before the appointment. On that basis I could have caught the next bus from home 20 mins later but if I had...

The rain has got even heavier. Everywhere will be a nice slippery mess tomorrow if it freezes overnight. The weather forecast suggests -4C.

We had about 6 or 8 flakes of snow earlier but no frost.

A45 had delays so came home a different way
