Had a lovely supper of cream of cauliflower soup with stilton, then turkey, leek & bacon quiche with the last of the coleslaw, and a Min Spy for afters.

Weather app says it's -4 outside.

I fancied some cream cheese on toast for my evening meal. I know it's not much to some, but I'm a light eater and four slices of seeded wholemeal bread with some of this on is/was enough for me. I thought I'd try this limited limited truffle flavoured one, instead of the usual garlic and herbs one. I was a bit apprehensive, thinking it might be too truffle flavoured, but no, you can taste truffle, but only slightly. Anyway, it's quite nice and a bit different.

I got a bunch of that on clearance after Christmas. Yet to try it, though.

Actually, got a good couple of kilos of assorted cheese on sticker / clearance.

There is a bright band of straw coloured light across that horizon above which is a layer of cloud. We seem to have frost. It will be a bit cold this morning when I swap the battery over on my wife's car.
