I remember when " Black Friday " sales first started. The latest missive from Amazon advises me that " Black Friday Week " will run from the 17th to the 27th. I thought the weeks were starting to drag a bit, now they're up to 11 days...

No wonder the postage on that VCR wasn't much; Parcel2Go, if a delivery is missed they want £24 to redeliver. Day in work this week Wednesday, guess when they are indicating delivery. Will not let me reschedule it so have contacted seller.

Turns out seller hasn't despatched it yet so asked them to do so Wednesday or later just in case it turns up the next day. The old Freesat box I had used at lunchtime to test the Scart to hdmi lead had been taken from an upstairs room where it was used on an TV with a Scart lead. The erroneously purchased hdmi to Scart lead put to use instead with the Freesat box that I had bought for the old main TV after BBC1 went scrambled on it.

Fabulous supper of turkey breast steaks rolled around home made sage and onion stuffing before being wrapped in bacon and baked, plus a large tray of roasties done in dripping, and a good serving of braised red cabbage.
