Following on from my recent retail experience I have decided to write a murder mystery. It is loosely based on Agatha Christie's "Why didn't they ask Evans?" It is about senior retail management being systematically being bumped off . It is called "Why didn't they answer the bl**Dy phone?"

Well, the "Finest" all-butter ones in Tesco are £3 for a box of 6. Would depend if there's any offers on, but at the full whack, that's 50p per Min Spy.

Which means that you'd be able to buy 200 of the Tesco's "finest" ones.

Friend works for small water company and his job includes inspections/ Legionella testing / design etc. a few years ago he was at a food production facility on the South Coast. There was one line producing Ready Meals. The standard Waitrose meal was packaged as " Tesco Finest "

On some wildlife documentaries when they release an injured animal back into its natural environment the animal sniffs the air before taking its first steps to freedom . It's as if nature is calling it back !
I'm getting a similar sense coming from that lawnmower that I found which is in our greenhouse!

Still dry outside but rain forecast and we still have that cold northerly wind.
Getting a bit worried.
The medical profession are taking too much interest in my welfare.
Not that I am ungrateful but a nurse I have never met, so one of the Community Nurses, phoned me yesterday late afternoon to check on my progress after my hospital visit.
That makes two GP phone calls and three nurse calls in a relatively short period. Do they know something I don't?

I exaggerate really. Just a bit anyway but the calls are real.
