I'm halfway through resealing around our bath. I've cut the old stuff out, Cillit Banged the black stuff and am about to wipe it off and let the area dry before finishing off with the new sealant.

Did someone say Min Spy?

G.Fondo & Sons, Purveyors of Min Spy's to HRH King George II (est. 1743)

Christmas (small pie filled with dried fruits, nuts, spices & sugar) Quiz 2023

No.1 - How many min spy's do we consume in the UK annually?
A. 8 million
B. 80 million
C. 800 million

80 million would be an average of one and a half pies each. I would probably eat about 20 between now and the end of the year, so 800 million could be right.

Don't forget that not everyone likes those small pies filled with dried fruits, nuts, spices & sugar!

Anyhow, answers will be revealed this evening. Have a go at this one:

No.2 - Bettys

C. £15.75

Mild, blustery and currently dry here chez Casa Reynard. It rained overnight, and a lot of leaves have been blown off the trees. More rain forecast for later though.

Slept well. Had a lovely morning trying (and that's the word) to photograph a Siamese cat. I should've taken duck tape! Hopefully I'll have something that's useable. This afternoon's task is to go to Tesco. I'll probably pop into Aldi on the way home to stock up on peppermint tea, as the Tesco stuff has recently shot up to £1.70 for 40 tea bags.

Anyways, it is almost time for luncheon.
