Washing bought in most have dried nicely given the marked temperature drop but still clear and sunny. The rest now airing off in the spare room. The Dyson has been walked round the floors and the bed made. Sat with a waiting for Mrs 73 to get home.
The nights drawing in has been noticeable the last few evening.

I went round to collect a bike from my wife's friend . It is heavy. It's a Raleigh mountain bike from the early 90's. Rusty chrome steel wheels. Front suspension to die from ! Not sure if it's worth doing up . I've been trying to read about them . Some people buy them for nostalgia and others detest them .

Ornamental bay has much bigger leaves, and the upper surface is glossy rather than matte. I remember you giving away that cutting.

Bay wood, once dry, burns really well, and smells good to boot. I've a load of ornamental bay logs stacked up along my fence.

Most domestics successfully completed and there was time late afternoon to give myself the last aerodynamic haircut of the year. The next few months will be dedicated to growing a winter thermal layer. Friday will be bike fettling day.
