What was in your veggie curry ?

The glass door on the 20 year old top oven in the kitchen has just 'exploded' when I opened it. Went off like a bomb. Glass fragments (remember Triplex windscreens?) everywhere. Cut leg too. Amazingly, can still get a new door, but almost 1/3 of the cost of a new oven.

New oven time then. That wasn't in the budget......

You may be better off with a new door.

Blimey that's lucky....I was beginning to worry. I've been on a starvation diet in preparation and now only weigh 2 stone.

It may be better to eat lest you lose your appetite. Then @vernon would have to eat all the pies, and I'm sure he doesn't want that.

OH made too much Boll sauce for the spag boll so "put it in the bin". That's just what I did.

I beat that. Tonight's gig coincided with Holmfirth's food and drink festival so I had a curry, a burger and a couple of pies. It would have been rude not to.

I've been to two pubs! The Salford music festival was competing with the rugby. We got the only empty seats in the first place - directly under the TV screen but in view of the band. I've got an early start tomorrow for another hilly bike ride, but I'm wide awake!
