I've destroyed a £16 oven door hinge, repaired the original broken hinge and the oven door now functions as it should.

Blimey that's lucky....I was beginning to worry. I've been on a starvation diet in preparation and now only weigh 2 stone.

I've been limbering up. Yesterday I paid a visit to Bothams the Bakers in Whitby.

Their fruitcake made with Taylors Landord was pretty tasty too but it didn't survive the walk between the shop and my camera in my car.
