The dog had launched another chemical warfare attack. It's that bad, he got up and left the room. I'm now sitting with a sleeping bag over me and the patio doors open! The sun is coming up, the lawn has a layer of ice on it and the birds definitely think spring is on its way. The ducks, however, are a touch confused.

When we are trying to cycle around the world, I was standing outside the tourist information office in Tallinn worth the bikes when an English couple came over to talk to us. He had been an engineer and was interested in the bikes wanting to know how far we had come... Usually stuff. By then we had been on the road for 6-7 months. The more we talked the more we realised he and my husband had worked for the same company... It turned out he had worked on the same floor of the same office block as my husband, lived within 4 miles of us and he had also taken voluntary redundancy just a year earlier. They were touring the world by cruise ship, we were (trying to) doing it by bike.

My decreasing on a knitting loom failed miserably 
the worst bit is I have no idea where I went wrong and I fear I shall have to unravel the whole thing (32 rows) unless I can get to a point where I can put it back on the pegs correctly pre-decrease atempt
