Same here. The workmen are refitting the fridge and freezer today, but no-one has bothered to mop or sweep up the kitchen floor and I know they won't. So I tried doing it yesterday. It's 1m by 3m at best with a little extra where the fridge and freezer go. It was black instead of the cream it should have been. How hard could it be too sweep it into a pile (can't do anything with pile due to inability to reach floor (new dustpan and brush needed) and then mop the small area concerned?



I won't be trying that again any time soon.

Luckily I don't have to travel far to fill the years supply of Rhubarb... just 2.5 miles to the Pick Your Own Rhubarb farm...

There is rather a lot... crumble AND pie is a distinct possibility... I am wondering how many times we can have a rhubarb based dish for pudding in a row before moanings occur from the Grandparent direction....

Stewed rhubarb and ginger ice cream is amazing

No but there's a direct link between this morning's 'fragrant' zephyrs and last night's Turkish mezes. The smoked aubergine added a head turning high note.
