The Scots have a great word for that rain "Smirr" seems to just about sum it up in a sound.

Son's dog is staying with us while they holiday in France so not much cycling for the duration. However we did go for a 5.6 mile walk instead.

One of their approximately 182 words (this may be a slight exaggeration) for different types of rain. They only have one for midges though..'littlebasturrrrddd' I think it is spelt.

Spotify have changed their terms and conditions, apparently I must let them know my device's location if I want to use their app... they'll get a lot of information from me.. 'The chair in the lounge'.

They have more words for rain, than eskimo's have for snow.

Welcome back, Postie. I'm guessing you'll have to make a trip to the GPO delivery depot to pick up all those packages your successor couldn't delivery whe you were away.

When our young and very enthusiastic Postie came back from his holiday, he asked if we'd had to collect any parcels from the sorting office. We had only had to go for one and he was really apologetic! I told him not to worry about it ! He knows where to put to leave them when we're out (and -not with our **** neighbour).
