Yesterday stayed rather nice for the Stafford bike show. And I now have a merino base layer which will be perfect for both types of bike

I'll do my best, I know Jo likes to see a good injury.
Snipe finally conceded defeat at 8.30 and went out for a pee - only 11 hours after she last went out.The dog's taken one look at the weather and decided he's not that bothered about a walk after all...

Chile for some WHO meeting
I love choral music too, it's very soothing.I'm exactly the same. That's why I gave up listening to Radio 3 at night* - I'd get woken up in the middle of the night by some overblown singer as though from a nightmare. It sounds so completely unnatural to me. I like choral music though as it's ensemble work and not designed to drown out the whole.
*Mind, Radio 4 gets me when it turns into BBC Schools during the week. I just hate the shouty, manipulative voices. Then there's that horrible signature motif of Newsday early in the morning - using portamento settings on a synth for what is effectively a bugle call simply comes over as painfully out of tune.
Bonjour. Il pleut.

Paresseux!Yep the southern rain has spread here too, my planned walk is not looking quite as appealing now, maybe just a lazy Sunday after all![]()
No way is it winter duvet time here yet. I am hoping never to have to put it on.We now have sunshine and blue skies so I've put a wash on. I've also stripped the bed, turned the mattress (I think: I got a bit confused) and hoovered up some of the dust bunnies and dead spiders lurking beneath it. Also thinking it might be time to swap sheets and blankets for the winter duvet.
