All these posts about gory things very apt......
Well I've had a fun day today. woke at 3am in agony, the return of the dreaded kidney stones, Barnet General by 6am. Transferred to the Royal Free, an overnight stay and a procedure sometime tomorrow. Good old NHS
:hugs: My mate had his 'shattered' by ultrasound, he still had to pee the bits out though.

Theres been a few that have used reconstructions, I think it was Meet The Ancestors that did this one, they did some good reconstructions, the thing I remember about this was how disfigured he was from the injury, though it was amazing that he survived at all with how limited their knowledge was.
Dr Richard Neave did some good ones using clay sculptures, I saw him at an AAI &S conference many years ago.

Fair weathered, fair minded but easily persuaded.
I remember Jimmy's and we did a similar thing with a frogs leg is in science at school

I like the reality ER and Ambulance shows, they are fascinating.

I have some contact with that sort of world through my job but the people I'm dealing with are usually beyond mortal assistance.
When i first started my job in the 80s we had 3 scenes of crimes officers at my station. Walking into their office was like walking into a horror dungeon as they always had their favourite crime scene photos hanging up on the walls some dating back to 60s in black and white that always made it look worse somehow.

No they are not daft. They always find the warmest spot.

Today's shot of the beach, waves gently lapping the shore.
