I really enjoyed it. I am not at all flexible and my balance is rubbish but I will keep practising "engaging my core"I like the "breathe into your back ". That took some getting my head around but i do it without thinking now.

My balance is a lot better, but I hate any of the plank like exercises.... They are too too hard! And my favourite exercise is when we do long stretches on my legs!I really enjoyed it. I am not at all flexible and my balance is rubbish but I will keep practising "engaging my core"![]()
The idea for us is that they don't have to buy everyone a workstation/desk so save money. It just makes for an unhappy work force and people end up hanging around waiting to get a space to work. It's a pain because you end up going and talking to the person that you aren't sitting next to instead for ages! Whereas previously you could just ask a question and then carry on working.
Last year in preparation for this they got rid of the normal PC's gave everyone laptops, and now you spend the first 5/10 mins of the day plugging in all the various cables to the network, screen, mouse, power and then reversing it at the end of the day.The idea for us is that they don't have to buy everyone a workstation/desk so save money. I'm still not sure whether they will expect those laptops to go home with us in this new office either!

Totally agree and it enables you to press pause on the world around you. Shame it took me being ill to finally decide to do it but so very glad i did. We also concentrate on doing things mindfully which again slows things down.I found that developing the yoga quiet mind a few years ago was one of the best things I've learnt to do in my life, it enabled me to get some control of my tendency to worry to much, and makes coping with lifes ups and downs a lot easier.
What channel was that on, i will have a look tomorrow?Change of subject. We've just watched Britain's Best Part Time Bands with Rhod Gilbert and Midge Ure. So uplifting to hear such great bands, I would happily go and watch all five of the finalists.![]()
