Morning all. Nice blue skies here again today....

Plus some really strange bird noises from dawn onwards. All can't get my head around cockatoos (sp?) flying around in big flocks or the dawn 'chorus'.

We saw flights of Lorikeets in Sydney, a wonderful sight.

Just in case you are wondering, it's dark and raining back in the motherland.

You will be able to tell me all the insignificant things my bestest friend in the whole world misses out due to catching up with small people and big people news when we speak in the jesis christ it is early or jesus christ it is late hours of the day when we catch up like we have just done.... lots of small people news etc but no australia news

We have flocks of green parakeets and yes they are very very noisly. The South East has a proliferation of the damn things.

Bit grey out there and i hear some wind swirling. Just need it to stay dry so i can finish painting my shed before the landscapers start on Monday. Then the question is do i paint the 2 fences as well?

I'm awake too... And I can't decide whether I so want to be made coffee in bed that I will wait an hour or two for Mr Summerdays to wake, or if I just should make my own..... I suspect the later!

Blurgh... I'm on my second coffee, as I put a pot on. Think I'll have another, then I'll go outside and put in the half a dozen saxifrage which have been looking at me forlornly since last week...

I had to retread that several times to work out the saxifrage wasn't going in the coffee pot and it feels too chilly to wandering outside without getting dressed!

A lie in and tea for the first time since the picnic weekend. Our Horse Chestnut trees in our road are in full blossom, nice to look out at from my bed.

I also have just enjoyed drinking my coffee in bed and looking at the day outside. It's damp and breezy having rained very hard last night, more rain expected. Really hoping for a dry cycle ride tomorrow.

No coffee for me these days.....interestingly I feel a squillion percent better as a result.

Agreed. In fact, I'd rather give up alcohol than coffee and cake! I don't have many cups in a day, but each one is very important.
