ive done a few jobs for this customer..She has a few hair salons dotted around Cambridgeshire.
I dont do extortionate rates as some do but i dont need to pay all the wadges and other stuff now as i work on my own.....the 2.4m oak post's on this job ,2 of them are 90quid Each!!!
9 sleepers at 300 quid and some securing posts...wood has got very expensive..
im always shocked when i price up decking and fencing..

I slept soundly until 8am. This is something of a record, I'm usually restless by around 6 or 7. However, I just looked at my watch and it's almost 9:30 and I've no idea what I've been doing since 8, so I'm working on the principle that someone is stealing hours today.

Though, strictly speaking, the long tailed tit is not actually a tit. They behave pretty much the same and sometimes fly with tits, mind. And they're cute, playful little things.

Vaguely on the same topic, while I was out by the river this midday, I surprised a couple of grey wagtails and, for a very short time, they flew along in front of me, one on each side. Fighter escort.... Not that I was doing anything remotely like bombing along....

I got two kingfishers. Very chuffed.
