Visitors due in 20 mins. All I want to do is sleep. Went to bed early yesterday completely knackered but didn't sleep well

I still can't see why people are so attracted to it. I have a farm 100 yards away and a canal at the end of the road, I'm surrounded by trees and wildlife. Most relaxing.

Hope your next visit to the smoke is better.

I am considering never having to go there again.

I really dislike London.

I have not missed it at all in the last 6mth.

I would like to park today firmly in the round bin now please.

There are parts of London I love, but an awful lot I don't. Sadly my grandparents road is no more, and where my grandfather worked is no posh flats.

On the other hand, I spent years commuting into London and I wouldn't do that again for the World, but I spent a lot of time studying and reading on that commute which I miss

Merlump is back from the vet, she got a telling off having put on a bit of weight. She did not seem bothered.

I have just realised, I have not changed back into my work kit after going out at lunchtime, I am feeling very padded!

I've just been to the local nick to see what the police could do about the dangerous and illegal driving in the rat run outside. I intended to also mention that bikes have started appearing in the yard below and I suspect them to be of doubtful origins. But as the traffic matter took up more time than I'd intended after it got a bit ''Ooh, isn't it terrible!'', I came home instead, once the desk officer said she'd take it up with the Safer Neighbourhoods Team. I'll continue photographing the bikes though. It'll serve them right for leaving the dog locked up all day.
