I got out of mowing the lawn at weekend.

Today I'm having a blood test, no food for another 2 1/2 hours.

I know, I was making my butties for work earlier and they were taunting me.

Only another hour and I can get stuck in.

We ran out of food in the flat. We were forced to go to the pub and have a pie

Steak and ale (plus a pint of Brakespears) - the salad and chips mean I have now had four of my five today.

History repeated itself. I was meant to be in a pie restaurant tonight. My dining companions gave back word. I've had fish again.

Seeing this thread is being used for far from mundane events (you know who you are) I thought I'd tell you I mowed the lawn today.

I did mine on Monday as well. Also washed & polished the car, changed the bedding and did 4 loads of washing. Today I also did another load of washing, vacuuming, ironing and mopped the kitchen floor.

I'm glad I'm back at work tomorrow - I need a rest!

It was a great gig. The first half was a mixture of his stuff and the second half was devoted to playing all of 'The Year of the Cat'. He's a great lyricist and performer.
