We can share a therapist. I was traumatised on Sunday when I gave my last pie to a friend and told him not to worry as there'd be a great pie stall at the classic bike rally - there was one there last year.

It was absent!

I consoled myself with the prospect of a rather nice burger or a mince and onion pie at the catering tent and joined the long queue. I was ten people away from being served and they ran out of burgers. I was eight people from being served and they ran out of pies.

'Never mind' I thought. I'll have a hot beef sandwich. I was three people away from being served and they ran out of bread buns.

I made do with a tuna sandwich.
