I always wondered why people beat the egg up first. I never understood adding milk either. Or why they overcook it. But people are funny with their eggs.
Is it something to do with getting air into it and making it fluffy?????

Not mundane news, but a mundane question. What are the robots that are on the site and how can they view threads

I think the adding milk dates from the rationing in the 1950s. It is certainly not something I do!

I think that's only for cakes.

Today I am the Prince of Power Planers.

The two new bedroom doors have been sized to fit the door holes. The door frames have been doweled in the screw holes of the old hinges because the new hinges don't line up. I have to wait now for a couple of hours before the glue has gone off, then it's door hanging time.

Now that's mundane.

Diana Dors used to ride a Dawes, through the streets of Hawes, followed by a dog with silent paws and a butler on all fours.
You're a Vogon aren't you?

Just read this on Wikipedia

Vogons are described as “one of the most unpleasant races in the galaxy—not actually evil, but bad-tempered, bureaucratic, officious and callous", and having "as much sex appeal as a road accident" as well as being the authors of "the third worst poetry in the universe".

I hope it's the last point that you are referring to and not the other stuff

Yes, took just over an hour, the player is a Cowen iAUDIO 9+ and I'm impressed with it, drag and drop or copy and paste to load music on it, it works well on Linux, the sound quality is excellent, the control layout isn't the best but its easy enough to work out and use, I'm happy.

I'm still using an iPod & running Apple's software in a Win7 virtual machine on Linux. But then I mostly use it for podcasts.
