I nearly wrecked a lot of electronic equipment last night when an open bottle of Pepsi-Max slipped from my hand and fell onto a coffee table. I dived for it and accidentally swiped it across the table, spewing out foaming, sticky drink as it went. Amazingly, no damage was done to the following devices, which surrounded the resultant puddle:

• A Windows laptop, which was in use at the time
• An Android tablet
• An Android phone
• A cordless landline phone and its charging station
• A small HD camcorder
• A battery charger
• A remote control for my TV
• A remote control for my Freeview PVR
• A remote control for my Surround Sound amp
• 2 USB flash drives (memory sticks)

Phew!
