The polis are involved, we went straight there after the hospital. The WPC at the desk is a cyclist who uses that bit of road every day so was uber sympathetic.

Hit and run seems to be becoming far too common lately and SMIDSY should not be a get-out.

If the witness hadn't known who it was I very much doubt the driver would have been back.
