Christian Horny has been cleared.

I suspect Tonto Wilf is very disappointed, his references to the subject were clearly building up to giving Red Bull Spice both barrels in the media when the time came.

However, now he can't and knowing Tito it'll fester in his soul and will really annoy him. Advantage Red Bull already.

Still doesn't change the fact that a lot of people in top level motor racing are actually rather unpleasant characters. That's nothing new. I'm lucky to get tidbits from here and there, and let's just say that Christian Horner isn't any different in that respect.

However, there IS a lot of misogyny still knocking around in the sport. Perhaps it is better now than it was 20 years ago, but even if someone is exonerated, it should still be a reminder that being an "alpha male" towards a female colleague shouldn't be tolerated.

The other interesting thing about this affair is that it's reckoned the various parties involved chose sides behind the scene. Apparently a lot of folk in the Red Bull orbit are now left holding their winkies after taking sides, only for Horner to not only be exonerated but to continue to receive the backing of Chalerm Yoovidya who owns a controlling stake in the parent company.

And now he's survived that I wouldn't be surprised if the long knives came out and Marko ended up being shunted away and Jos the Boss' operational influence reined in.

The season has barely started and he's already bumping his gums and complaining about Red Bull's statement of their investigation.

He should have learned by now that with a team to run and championships to try and win he shouldn't be wasting a moment of time or bandwidth on anything that does not contribute to those goals.

And yet there he is...

I predict MB won't take another drivers or constructors title this decade without a change of Team Principle.
