I didn't want to point out the matt black finish.
But this year's car looks hard as nails in matt black and raw carbon.

I think they may be way off the minimum weight , as are several other teams, to be running so much area paintless.
It doesn't seem look that long since they had to add ballast to get UP to the minimum weight.

Impossible to tell how much grandstanding and sandbagging is going on though. Hamilton's best time is 0.6secs off Max's but without having parity of fuel setup etc it's all a bit meaningless.
