Just seen on an F1 group I'm a member of on facebook that Philippe Streiff has passed away.

Philippe was paralysed from the neck down after a pre-season testing accident in Rio in 1989 while driving for AGS.

......and so it starts again.

2023 releases slowly happening with Williams and Redbull releasing their livery and Alfa releasing the actual car with livery

The Alfa is looking mighty fast stood still with a lot of little bits of interest. Front wing, split coke bottle design, the back of their engine cover, floor sides etc. Great looking car considering how tight the regulations are.

I quite like it, but also can't understand how that floor edge is allowed.

I will say from personal experience that the rules are written in "legalese" as opposed to plain English, and as a result, racing car designers will think seven ways of sideways in a bid to find the loopholes. There's always *something* that the people who write the rules didn't think of...

Don't forget that these are publicity shots and not race setup. It's possible that it will look a little different on race day.

The Alfa is quoted as having brought there '23 car. As to how much of it remains to be seen but just over two weeks until testing begins when we'll get to see them properly.
