more than 1 bike

what are other peoples way of explaining to their wife/partner/husband/parent that they need more than 1 bike for their sport/recreation purpose etc ? i have one bike cost 600 euros last sept and i am buying one in 3 weeks for 1900 euro , any ideas on the approach or should i just hide it inthe car or shed ??

i have returned to cycling last summer to help in losing weight and getting fitter . i do know if i had a good bike it would encourage me more to use it !

My wife doesn't go short of anything she wants so it's really got naff all to do with her how many bikes are in the garage.
