Well it's so long since I saw Zardoz that I couldn't say, but all I remember is his ghastly pony tail and grey hairy chest.

Sean Connery playing an Irishman in The Untouchables
Sean Connery playing an Russian in The Hunt for Red October
Sean Connery playing an Englishman in Robin Hood Prince of thieves
Sean Connery playing a Greek in The Time Banditds

Sean Connery in any role that might demand an non-Scottish accent
Sean Connery playing a Spanishman in Highlander
Sean Connery's character had a terrible Spanish accent but a good Egyptian one.

He was great in Get Carter too, which I rewatched just recently. God but the world has changed - in my lifetime, but it looked like another planet. But Caine was the standout, doing what he does best - playing Michael Caine, brilliantly.
The Italian Stallion in Get Carter. Wrong!

I always remember the overall description of 'Brief Encounter' in I'm Sorry I haven't a clue. It wasn't amazingly funny, but it still made me smile:

'Oh! I've got something in my eye!'

'Here, let me help you get it out'

'I think I love you'

'Me too'

'I'm married'

'Me too'

'Oh bugger'

'Goodbye forever then'

'Goodbye'.

I remember that skit too; excellent indeed. I also liked their précis of Romeo & Juliet (below from memory, but along the right lines)

'I love you'
'I love you to'
' I'm dead'
' So am I'
'Oh bugger'

Jude Law as a sniper in Stalingrad in "Enemy at the Gates". A terrible film - Derek Nimmo would have been more convincing as a ruthless killer.

I really like that film, and thought Law was really good as the quiet farm boy who who happened to be a crack shot

Sean Connery in Zardoz. The only saving grace in that film was his opposite number Charlotte Rampling.😘
I'll not hear a word against that film, thank you very much.

Zardoz is a great film. OK, it is also pretentious tosh, but has greatness all the same. Every time it's on TV I find myself watching it again.
Pretty good music too !

I take it you are being sarcastic, as Sting was by far the best actor in it (though the winged pants were a bit, well, pants).
I do have a soft spot for that film although it is a bit of a mess overall
I've tried watching Dune several times but I just cannot fathom why it's so highly rated... everything about it is dire; acting, effects, dialogue, casting... it underwhelms me more than any other film, which is something, I suppose.

I don't think it's highly rated by anyone, even by people like me who might have a soft spot for it.
