Just watched the highlights.
He is so compact and composed on his bike.

The chase group could have been better but 5 riders will never want to chase as who ever pushes the pace will always lose out.

Except in those 5 Valter and Benoot are teammates,they should of worked together...
But that's bike racing and I reckon from the moment Tom bridged across to Bettiol and Bagioli it was his race to lose,you don't let a rider as talented as him go.
Only thing that surprised me a little was MVDP not chasing him then !
Chapeau Tom...Milan San Remo next please 😁

Women - Niewiadoma/Kopecky. (My heart says Niewiadoma, my head says Kopecky)
Men - Pidcock

I am flipping triumphant. 2nd for the women, 1st for the men. What a day.

LOVED the women's race and, maybe contentiously, I loved the final sprint. I loved how they went hunting together to take down Faulkner (what a ride) and then literally fought to the end. Lionesses. That's utterly how it should be. Two incredible athletes, not giving an inch.

Bet the team bus is a little cold though. I admire SDWorx enormously but I wouldn't want to be on that team, if I was a pro. I don't think it's a happy place to work.
