Minor Races 2023 / 2024 Spoilers !

I am flipping triumphant. 2nd for the women, 1st for the men. What a day.

LOVED the women's race and, maybe contentiously, I loved the final sprint. I loved how they went hunting together to take down Faulkner (what a ride) and then literally fought to the end. Lionesses. That's utterly how it should be. Two incredible athletes, not giving an inch.

Bet the team bus is a little cold though. I admire SDWorx enormously but I wouldn't want to be on that team, if I was a pro. I don't think it's a happy place to work.

Was amusing to hear Vollering call Kopecky a daffodil.

Edit: And my vote for ride of the day in the women's race goes to Puck Pieterse - 6th in her first wt race. Faulkner was lucky not to get relegated after clearly baulking vollering on the final ascent - I don't think sdworkx will forget that one!

Except in those 5 Valter and Benoot are teammates,they should of worked together...
But that's bike racing and I reckon from the moment Tom bridged across to Bettiol and Bagioli it was his race to lose,you don't let a rider as talented as him go.
Only thing that surprised me a little was MVDP not chasing him then !
Chapeau Tom...Milan San Remo next please 😁

I usually ride fast enough for the rain to bead off me....but for the budding amateurs such as yourself Sports Direct I believe.😁

G would make a good "third bloke on the sofa", quite funny, should get on with anyone; but I think he's a bit too Kool For Skool to animate a broadcast. I tried one of his podcasts with Luke Rowe, and I barely finished it, just the too of them laughing at how shambolic they both were.
Of course you have to like a welshman calling his podcast "Watts Occuring?"

His first book was very enjoyable (2nd just too rambling, a clear cash-in by the publishers).
