Here for rides.
We need more dedicated and segregated cycle lanes in areas of heavy traffic. That would be civilized *winks*
we need that as well... but we need to do something about reducing the speed and volume of the traffic to civilised levels too.

Apologies for not replying sooner but due to time differences between here and Britain and having had little sleep the night before, due to watching the Olympic Opening Ceremony,I had to be away to my bed!

Obviously I wasn't pointing to you or Ian Cooper when I made my comments about the anarchists, I actually like your idea of what an anarchist is and should I be persuaded down that path in the future then I will be more than happy to share that bottle of wine and some pasta with you!

You bring the wine and pasta, I'll bring the cous cous and quiche

Don't be led into anything, anarchy is about figuring things out for yourself, although of course it isn't about anything so defined. Confusing isn't it

I prefer "Mind Rape".

It's pretty mellow.

(It doesn't sound very mellow)

Well he only had three other batches: "Gorilla Panic", "They're coming! They're coming!" and something called "This Is Permanent"...
Go on, spark it up!

This thread is possibly veering into areas unknown to me for many a year. I may lose track. Apologies in advance.

Ah, I thought Mort's picture was inferring that CM were crusty stoners.
Not in the example I was talking about. The bunch were parked up at the side of the road, chatting. A lone crusader was standing astride his bike, stationary, in the middle of the road a bit further on. There was a queue of buses waiting for him to move while he played on his phone.

This meets none of Dell's reasons. It was just an arse, being an arse, and reinforcing the rumour that all cyclists are arses.
Which we are not, and we'd prefer it if the rent-a-thugs would piss off to Syria if they want a fight with someone.

I am all for a green planet and demonstrating for it. What I am not for is the kinds of policies who in cold blood murdered 100 millions of my fellow human beings in utopian political experiements, terror, KZ camps and state organised famine during the last century. I am afraid movements like CM is attracting the kind of people with those political views. That's why I am out although I (probably) share your views.

I wish that one day, political moderates like myself could protest for a good cause in peace without attracting leeches from the extreme left/right. *deep sigh*

Of, at a rough count, a dozen of my mates who attend CM barely three or four have been involved in genocide. You've got your story twisted there old boy.
