Not this time sadly though i thought about it .... Im a bit out if fixed practice and might be a liability. Not sure if the gearing is right either. I contemplated the BSA shopper, but being less than 100% atm I'm playing safe and dull with the Rourke.

What is the route from east Croydon out to where the cars run? From mentor, they don't go through Croydon, we ride out to meet them. I can't decide if I should follow the cars from Streatham, or divert across to east Croydon from there? I'll be riding with a few folks from work and they're not that quick...

The route follows the A236 along Old Town then joining the the A235, then on the the A23.
So from EC we go west along George St then turn left into the High Street to meet the vehicles at the A235

I won't be popping along the coast- another spot of tummy trouble over the past few days (had to miss the Killing Joke gig last night, grr)- seem finally back to normal today, but (apart from it being better to take it easy until Monday), the weather's not looking too clever for me (15 mph NWerly) & there's a replacement bus service on the rail line to boot (what a surprise). Good luck everyone!

Oh well. Mine is not yet ready. I am out of headset spacers because the bike I am swapping from has a 1" headset. The chain is one link too short. I need to recable. If I am done though, I am riding it.

Yeah 3-5 degrees and rain. Why do they do this in November? We'd all enjoy it a lot more in June!

The Historic Vehicles ride is on the first Sunday in May and is often nice weather. Lots of old coaches, trucks, buses etc.
