I'm sure it's just me, but the difference between KOM points across grand tours is very confusing! How can you lead the KOM after 10* stages with just 22 points?!?
It's not as if the first 10 stages were flat compared to The French Race!! :P
*just as an example!

He's had a season to forget because of the serious crashes. Let's hope this injury is not too serious. He was targeting the worlds coming up, but this may derail his plans.

Thats very sad. He was really lighting the race up ensuring the points and mountain jerseys were interesting as well as the GC shenanigans. Sad for Wout, sad for the race.
