Not as boring as the result suggests. Not sure I agree. If I do, it's only because the result makes it look very boring!

Last year Jumbo dominance was boring.

This year the Giro and the Tour were boring due to Pogi doing the double.

Vuelta leaves them both out....and Remco for everybody else to get a chance....
Multiple stage winners,plenty of newcomers being given a chance to show themselves.
Brutally tough race due to elevation and the heat ! Rogla overcomes 5 ish mins down to win it with a depleted team due to illness, apparently not feeling too good himself,all at the age of 34 coming back from a horrific crash.

I quite enjoyed the Tour this year, as I said at the time. The better coverage (both TV and press) helps, of course.
