Yes it was a bad crash, I don't like using the word but he was lucky he slid under the barrier and missed the posts as had he gone into it or them it could have been a lot worse.

Ironic just as he found his legs again.Was he not saying earlier in the race that he didn't feel right...like heavy legs and couldn't get his heart rate up.Pulled out of the Giro as well.
