Bit of a thread resurrection:
I had cause to use the KMC pliers yesterday and they're fantastic. As said earlier in the thread, sometimes it takes me a few seconds to split a quick link by hand, sometimes it takes 5 or 10 frustrating minutes. It took literally 5 seconds or so with the pliers. Well worth £9
