It is for sure, which is why it does not appeal to me (even though I am old) but...

... the Beeb say that R2 is targeted at 35+. Who at the lower end of that age group listens to that music?

I've been listening to R2 since before that age.

The BBC need to bring the younger audience to Radio 2 to replace the TOGs.

I will be presenting my last show on Radio 2 next Friday. I had intended fulfilling my contract until the end of March but the BBC has decided it wants me to leave earlier. Let’s enjoy the week ahead!

Was he ever in the running? I don't think I've ever heard him on the radio though I know he does do it.

He's done well but I can see why the BBC want to move him on; a high salary plus a younger audience.

I listen to Radio 2 occasionally whilst driving for the traffic but mostly when Absolute Country has adverts.
