Need to share this: I bought a Hope sealed hub wheel for my favorite bike.
Life is too short to keep greasing balls :stop::laugh:

I want to say something... I really do, but no, I'm a good boy

Just had a look outside, lovely clear sky with clearest view of the stars I've had in months, but so windy that it sounds like my window is going to blow in...

My giant wheels have a unique free hub and the shop can't find one, put an old wheel on it for the moment but it seems like to stop needing a fee hub every few months I need new wheels

Hlab helped me out, now sorted

@Col5632 - id get a second opinion, new wheels would have a different hub, so is it just he doesn't want to undo and redo all the spokes? I need to go back into him as the old bikes service has the bike feeling well out of sync

I think he would rather I had reliable wheels, although sometimes I do feel like some jobs are not always done to the highest standard

After my service last year my gear cable went after I'd been in saying it don't feel right and he insisted it was fine, this time there's no play in gears, and front brake pads are miles out in being lined up with each other.the handiness of it being next to my work is becoming less of an incentive to get work done. month start asking up @ShooglyDougie s offer of labour In exchange for beer

He did have an older mechanic (don't know if he's still there ) but his work was spot on but I feel if paul does it then it's not great. I took my hybrid in for a service and to see if he could remove the valve cap from my wheel so I could pump it up, picked it up and he hadn't touched the valve so I ended up having to saw it off
