Today was sado machosism. Slow puncture at mile 31, pump destroyed another conti valve, two hour wait for a train at gleneagles station with an empty stomach, ten quid for two inner tines, tyre came off rim, wouldnt re inflate, had to floor a junkie who was out his face and lunged at me, borrowed a track pump at the train station, 6 miles later tyre came off rim again, @tug benson taxi to the rescue and eventually home.

Now eating a McDonald's and looking at new tyres, whether to go tubeless, and a new pump , and planing on eating dust for a month to afford it

Slow puncture at mile 31, pump destroyed another conti valve,
I might not be worthy of your Arran rides :notworthy:  but after the first instance of the above mentioned destruction I would not have set out on a long ride without first having replaced the pump, the conti inner or both.
And I would have made sure at home that the new pair work!:tongue::tongue::tongue:

It's been intermittent the issue. Don't get punctures that often for it to be an issue. Purchased some specialized

If I need a knot in my inner tubes, I'll give the scouts a call. I was too busy marching around in the boys brigade
Sheepshank does work on an innertube. Don't ask.
