Eventually. Flybe put everyone up in the Holiday Inn and put on an extra flight at 13.30 today. Delayed but eventually took off at just after 3pm. 48hr round trip all for a 6hr meeting - island life.

Look forward to seeing a group up here. Will help out if I'm needed.

Not a day for the bike today, 6 miles done from the car garage on the hybrid, don't think I'll be doing the same tonight in 90mph winds
Rather perversely, I am looking forward to riding home tonight into that wind. I know I'll absolutely hate it, but will feel good if when I get back.

Whatever you decide to do - Ride Safe, guys and it's not worth the risk ... car can wait (even if a big bit inconvenient) and Ed -... well don't do anything daft [ooops - too late .. :giggle:] ... err ... ca' canny, eh ?

ca' canny, eh ?
I don't think I'll have much option given a 60mph headwind!
Possibly will ride through the hills to escape the worst of it...

I'm back shift again, soon setting out :training:
Got a shiny cleaned bike, new pedals, cranked up cranks (there was a noise, discovered they were a bit loose) 2 big panniers full of stuff I don't really need, to weight me down :cycle:
For a change I'm gonna wear my helmet, to much debris flying about :B)
